Coronavirus: govt “confident” children will be safe to return to school - BBC News

The government has said it’s confident that children and teachers will be safe under its plans for primary schools in England to open to more pupils next month. The Cabinet office minister Michael Gove said nobody could guarantee that teachers and children would not become infected with coronavirus. However he said it was extremely unlikely that a school would be the source of an outbreak. Ministers say their plans to re-open schools in England will be guided by the best scientific advice.
