RoboMill - Robotic MIlling

The Metalcraft Automation Group has been busy creating this new RoboMill cell for processing SCAG consoles and fuel tanks at our Metalcraft Plastics Group facility in Horicon, WI. The project has been very successful and coming soon we will be making RoboMill available for purchase. RoboMill is 6-axis milling system with automatic tool changing capabilities We added tool detection and Fanuc’s iRVision to confirm your cutters are intact and your fixtures match the selected part program The Hiteco spindle selected for this application has a 10hp motor with speeds up to 20,000rpm The Fanuc robot selected for this application has 25kg of capacity and 1831mm of reach
