Traditional Inca music - Cusco - Peru - 2018

The Inca civilization was the largest Pre-Columbian civilization in the Americas and Cusco was its capital. The best kept example of its architecture is Machu Picchu. In Ancient Inca music was used for religion ceremonies and dances. They used the panpipes, flutes, bells, dums. They played theses instruments in traditional Peruvian music. The Inca’s believed that the soul of the animal is kept alive by playing music in religious ceremonies and dances.
