Two Nice Girls embraced their homosexuality and androgyny which at the time was practically unheard of, musically combining rock, folk, country and even pop, some might describe their music as a quirky folk rock. Two Nice Girls made three studio albums before breaking up in 1992, and had gained a nationwide following for their music and refusal to conform to any music industries ideals of an all female band, Two Nice Girls, are pioneers for being the first to pave the road for more acceptance in the music industry in what would later be a long line of openly lesbian bands from Tribe 8,Team Dresch, Sick of Sarah,Hunter Valentine and many more.
