Two Nice Girls-Princess Of Power

Bio By She Rox All Female Bands:Austin, Texas based Two Nice Girls, began in 1986, and the contribution they would provide for women in music set precedence that is still regarded today by many, the feminist based , self proclaimed “Dyke Rock“ was something that no others before them were so quick to claim for the world to hear. Two Nice Girls embraced their homosexuality and androgyny which at the time was practically unheard of, musically combining rock, folk, country and even pop, some might describe their music as a quirky folk rock. Two Nice Girls made three studio albums before breaking up in 1992, and had gained a nationwide following for their music and refusal to conform to any music industries ideals of an all female band, Two Nice Girls, are pioneers for being the first to pave the road for more acceptance in the music industry in what would later be a long line of openly lesbian bands from Tribe 8,Team Dresch, Sick of Sarah,Hunter Valentine and many more.
