FBI says probing China-linked telecom hack | DW News

Sources in the US say suspected Chinese hackers have targeted the phones of Donald Trump and his running mate for the White House JD Vance. Phones associated with the campaign of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris may also have been targeted. An FBI statement did not give any names but said it was investigating what it called ’unauthorized access to commercial telecommunications infrastructure by people associated with China.’ It was not immediately clear what data, if any, had been accessed.
