📃 Оригинальное описание:
This abandoned Catholic school in Detoit was quite a find. The church that owns it is active and only the school is abandoned. The school was built in 1922 to help with the rise of religious people moving to the area. The school was built for students from grades K-12, with money from the church as well as private donors. In the 1950’s the school was in its prime and had almost 2,000 students.
In 1995, the graduating class had dropped to only a few hundred students. This left the school with no other choice but to close permanently. Protests from the staff, parents, students, and even some residents of the local community were all ignored.
The crazy part is that a lot of the school stuff was left behind after it’s closing. I found a full library, lots of desks, gym equipment, and all the trophies.
