Vitani&Kovu’s son - Mordred Lullaby

I come back with AMV so much less than I’d like to. Furthermore I’ve worked to this video, and to the idea it’s built on, from more than two years. I am a slow producer indeed. Based on the song “Mordred lullaby“ by Heather Dale, I realized part of my headcanon of The Lion King. Thanks to Sullabib for having made me know this song. Vitani - Vitani (cub and adult) Kovu - Kovu (cub and adult) Kiara - Kiara blue-eyed Kovu - Vitani and Kovu’s cub (cub and adult) STORYLINE: Vitani and Kovu were betrothed during Scar’s reign (they are not brother and sister but they never know about it). They know about their betrothal since their childhood; the day before Kovu begins his mission in the prideland they mate. When everything is finished (with Kovu falling with Kiara and betraying Zira’s plan and outlander and pridelander becoming one), Kovu tells Vitani that he loves Kiara. Vitani is surprised and disappointed and escapes form the prideland. Indeed she agrees with Kiara about the fact that “we are one“ but she never imagines that Kovu, her betrothal, doesn’t love her anymore. (probably he has never loved her, and so Vitani, but she was so used to this idea that she convinced herself to truly love her brother/betrothal). She is pregnant. Being outside the pridelands she grows up her son with the project to use him for her revenge against Kovu and Kiara Being him the first born of the new king, she thinks he is the rightful heir to the throne. So she trains him to be a strong, resentful, angry lion. In the end, however, Kovu will defeat and kill his challenger and unknown son. This is the lullaby Vitani is going to sing to his cub, telling him his family’s history and tha fate he has to fulfill.
