This blood wrenching creepy affair is based on a true story about a thing that comes out at night covered in oil and kills people and covers them in oil. Besides starring a bevy of sexual beauties like the overly voluptuous Chen Ping and the coyly precocious Angela Yu Chien, the film features the young up and coming Danny Lee (who won international critical acclaim in John Woo’s The Killer) in his first horror film ever as the oily maniac. The film was so scary and unsettling that the censors at the time cut a lot out to make it theater watchable.
