The Chacma Baboon ( Papio ursinus ) is the largest species of baboon, living across southern africa. The baboon is large weighing up to 50kg and the males possess long canine teeth. They live in troops ranging in size , usually 20-30 but can be as large as 200. They are very social animals and often groom each other to build bonds between each other.
