Ominous (huge thunderstorm time-lapse with Nikon D60) by Inofaith

It was a hot summer evening in June, and I made this sketch of a dark soundtrack the week before. Then this big thunder storm was lurking over the horizon. On radar websites I saw this one was going to be HUGE, and I had a feeling this was going to be like nothing I’ve ever seen before: the perfect dark atmosphere for the sound I was writing. So I set up my time-lapse rig on the roof and shot throughout the night into the morning, while the storm seemed to last forever. It was like hell on earth.
