I had been making art for 10 years for friends and family before I ever sold anything. It wasn’t until I started watching Supernatural with my husband (and wanted to go to the convention) that I ever considered selling my art. Putting myself out there was scary but the risk paid off - I earned enough to buy the weekend gold passes for me and husband! We had such a good time that I was inspired to keep it up.
