Welcome to a walking tour in Düsseldorf city, western Germany, on very warm day in May 2024. As temperatures unexpectedly rise to around 23 degrees Celsius, you’ll see the wonderful city bursting and coming to life before your eyes. We will start at the stunning Medienhafen / Media Harbour, where you can also see the Rheinturm (Rhine Tower), which is Düsseldorf’s most recognisable landmark, before we proceed to take a walk along the beautiful banks of the Rhine River, watching many transportation ships glide along the water. Afterwards we will go to the historic Altstadt (Old Town), where you will see the Bolkerstraße, which is a famous bar and restaurant street. We then proceed to the Schadowstraße shopping street and pass the newly created KÖ Bogen II area. Afterwards we head to the Immermannstraße, well-known as Little Tokyo where lots of Japanese restaurant, shops and asian supermarkets can be found. Our walking tour ends at the busy Hauptbahnhof / Main Station, where lots of people are going in and out. Düsseldorf is renowned for its vibrant arts and fashion scene, attracting visitors from around the globe. As the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, it boasts a rich cultural heritage, bustling nightlife, and picturesque riverside promenade along the Rhine, making it a dynamic destination for both business and leisure travelers.
