BBC: Tensions on the Ukraine border

Russia has called on the United States to respond “urgently” to its request for security guarantees. Last week Moscow demanded an end to NATO enlargement and to the Alliance’s military activities in eastern Europe. Meanwhile, NATO says it is “gravely concerned” by what it calls “a substantial and unjustified” Russian military build-up on the border with Ukraine.
