Naisa Slit Tapestry Weaving from Timor

The naisa slit tapestry technique is used by weavers in Mollo, Timor, to make ornate betel nut bags, men’s belts, and the Pilu Salak warrior’s dress of the old Mollo Kingdom, said to grant its wearer invisibility and invincibility in battle.
