In this video, I make a few Novaculite and Georgtown Flint gunflints using a steel stake and knapping hammer, then finishing with a copper pressure flaker, making them bifacial(ish).
The steel stake and knapping hammer was commonly used in Brandon, England back in the heyday of gunflint manufacture.
Brandon Flintknappers at their peak could make 8 gunflints per minute.
