Anti-COVID protests in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne

Anti-COVID protests are underway in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. In Melbourne, demonstrators are converging on the steps of parliament and police are preparing for tensions to flare. The crowd in the CBD is huge as the streets are packed with people protesting the handling of the virus and the proposed pandemic legislation. Despite almost all restrictions being lifted, there are still demonstrators who are against the vaccine mandates introduced by the government.
