RuPaul Meets Nelson’s Mother at 5 Ninth Avenue in 1986

Nelson’s mother, Mrs. Sullivan, was visiting New York with Nelson’s Aunt Doris; and RuPaul was in New York for an appearance at Palladium when they were introduced at Nelson’s 5 Ninth Avenue townhouse in 1986. Mrs. Sullivan would later be in the audience at Palladium to see RuPaul performance.
