In a fight between an unarmoured man and a knight in full armour, the outcome is already predetermined. The probability of winning without armour is very low.
In our unarmoured duels, Philipp Lechner in the role of the unarmoured fencing master only won one out of five duels, and only because I lost my dagger at the start of the fight and couldn’t get the full potential out of my armour. Although I had to slow down my thrusts and blows and wrestling to avoid killing my fencing partner, it was very close on several occasions.
Philipp Lechner is a multiple German longsword fencing champion and one of the best fencers in the world, but unarmored against an armored knight his chances were very low.
