The inspiration for designing it was I was scheduled to teach a class called “Geometric fidget Toys“ but realized that the model I planned to teach would only take about 20 minutes to fold and so I needed another geometric fidget model to fill the rest of the class period and this model is what I came up with. Well, actually, I had already designed a much more complex version several months prior, but what I discovered at the convention was a much cleaner, more durable and easier-to-fold version. I discovered most of the 12 tricks after the convention. The clip at the end is me entertaining at Trinity County Fair in Hayfork, CA.
