“The Temple of the Other Gods” is one of the oldest songs of Mordor, for it was originally composed in 1991, thus predating even our second demo 𝐶𝑠𝑒𝑗𝑡ℎ𝑒, and was markedly influenced by albums such as Bathory’s 𝐻𝑎𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑟ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 and Celtic Frost’s 𝑇𝑜 𝑀𝑒𝑔𝑎 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑛; it could be described as a sort of “epic blackened doom metal”.
