This short film report from sometime in the late-1960s to early-1970s acted as promotional material for the North American Rockwell Corporation (1967-1973) to display their prowess in the aerospace industry and to reveal a new model aircraft called the Aero Commander 112. The film places the corporation at the center of aerospace industry growth by discussing all of North American Rockwell’s accomplishments and contributions to both aircraft and spacecraft and boasts the tagline “North American Rockwell and the future are made for each other.” North American Rockwell Corporation is today Rockwell International Corporation, a diversified American corporation that was formerly one of the United States’ leading aerospace contractors making launch vehicles and spacecraft for the U.S. Space Program.
