STEM Project #3 Coloured Spinner (Light)

Below are the step by step instructions presented on the video. #homeeducation #stemprojects Materials: Paper, a pencil about 16-20cm long (hexagonal ones are better than round ones), a plastic bottle or tube about 5cm shorter than the pencil, a shorter pencil, an old CD or DVD, 2 milk bottle lids and string. Tools: Ruler, scissors, felt tip pens, Sellotape and some Blu Tack. Step 1: cut out the paper discs Place the CD on the paper and draw round it. Make a cross in the middle. You should be able to get three discs out of one sheet of A4 paper. Cut out the three discs. Step 2: cut out the centre of the discs Put a lump of Blu Tack on the table. Put the first bottle lid open end down on the Blu Tack. Push the pencil straight down in the middle of the lid to make a hole to help you find the centre of the discs. Place the lid over the centre of a paper disc and draw round it. Place the disc on the Blu Tack and push down with the pencil
