My studio recording of the famous virtuoso Sigismund Thalberg’s (1812-1871) arrangement of the famous aria ’Casta diva’ from Bellini’s opera ’Norma’. Recorded 5th Sept 2012, Reid Hall, Edinburgh. This piece is part of Thalberg’s collection of arrangements of setting from opera and song, L’art du chant appliqué au piano, .
