Biberian Prelude 3

Biberian’s prelude #3, “Las campanulas“, is an hommage to Alonso Mudarra (1510 - 1580). The score indicates Senza mesura - espressivo. Gilbert’s love for the rich overtones the guitar produces, and that were so well used during Spain’s Siglo del Oro are of course reminiscent of the Turkish and Armenian music that inspired him during his entire life.
