Özgü Namal was born on 28 December 1978 in Besiktas, Istanbul. Ozgu Namal is a Turkish actress. When she was a child, Özgü Amel Namal began her acting career at the Masal Gerçek Theatre. Ozgu Namal completed her graduation from the theater department of the State Conservatory of Istanbul University. She professionally participated in plays such as “Tekrar Cal Sam”, “Yan Etkili Konusmalar”, and “Taraf Tutmak” amid the conservatory years. When Ozgu Namal began her career she has had driving roles in TV series such as Yeditepe Istanbul and Hanimin Ciftligi.
