’Leftist privilege’ preventing CNN’s star commentators from the sack

Sky News host Rita Panahi says “leftist privilege” is protecting “enablers and propagandists” from being sacked after several CNN commentators were embroiled in scandals over the past few months. The Atlanta-based network opted against disciplining Chris Cuomo after the host fessed up to “inappropriately” advising his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, on responding to sexual harassment allegations. CNN’s chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin also retained his job despite being caught exposing himself during a Zoom call with his colleagues at the New Yorker in October last year.
