Pat-Metheny-Style-Solo - Played by Andreas Schulz

Check out my new CD (out november 2020): - - - Enjoy this improvisation in the style of Pat Metheny. The first chorus of the solo was written for the “Acoustic-Lead-Workshop“ of the german magazine AKUSTIK GITARRE, issue 2-2011. Then i continue improvising over the chord changes. The guitar is a korean made Ibanez PM20, a cheaper version of Pat’s signature model. I found it some years ago on ebay, a former owner had added a pickguard. I admit, the color is a little strange, i normally had prefered the blonde model. The acoustic sound of this jazz box is not great, but you can play pretty loud on stage without feedback and the Ibanez Super 58 pickup stands for a good amplified sound.
