Album due for Release on 27 October 2023 The song “What Kind Of Love” was Co-Written by legendary Memphian Singer & Songwriter Don Bryant and ‘Bo-Keys’ founder Scott Bomar (who also produces the Album) Don Bryant is known for writing some of RnB’s most iconic songs such as “I Can’t Stand The Rain” written with his then wife Ann Peebles (who Emma acknowledges as her greatest influence) and Bernie Miller. Don & Scott gifted “What Kind of Love” to Emma saying how they always wanted to hear a woman sing it – Emma was over the moon - however her idea was to have Don join her on vocals... Emma says ..“It just seemed right to have Don sing with me on this song, he arrived at the studio full of life and excited, I said to Don “Do you have any direction for me on how to do it?” and he took hold of my two hands, smiled and said.. “Just Sing it Honey” we recorded it live, swapping vocal riffs together, you can hear the joy in our voices, hear me laugh, it was a wonderful day, especially as we had such an incredible band playing with us in the truly magical ‘Sam Phillips Studios’ live room”
