The Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM) is located in the estate known as Atlı Köşk (Mansion with the Horse) with the annex of galleries built subsequently. Designed in 1925 by the Italian architect Edoardo De Nari by the order of Prince Mehmet Ali Hasan, the estate was bought by Hacı Ömer Sabancı in 1951.
