#Khattameethakarela People who do not like Karela/Bitter gourd try this Khata Meetha Karela Recipe bitter gourd recipe is absolutely delicious and quick to make! #karela #bittergourd #healthyrecipes #bharvakarela #easyrecipe #healthyrecipes Ingredients Quantity Bitter gourd 4-5no’s Salt 1 tbsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Sugar 1 tbsp Water as required Mustard oil 3 tbsp Onions 2 no’s Tomatoes 2 no’s Potato 2 no’s Cumin seeds 1 tsp Kalonjo 1 tsp Green chillies 6-8 no’s Ginger julienne 1 inch Salt to taste Coriander powder 1 tbsp Fennel powder ½ tsp Ginger powder ½ tsp Garam masala 1 tsp Red chilli powder 2 tsp Asafoetida ¼ tsp Dry mango powder 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp Tamarind paste ¼ cup Jaggery ¼ cup Tomato 2 no’s Chopped coriander as required garnish Ginger julienne for garnish Method Take bitter gourd slit it from the middle and then cut it in to big size chunks now add salt , turmeric powder, sugar and mix it well and keep it for resting atleats for 10 to 15 mins In a kadhai add water for boiling , once the water is been boiled add the marinated bitter gourd and let it boil for 3-4 mins and also wash it with normal water n keep it aside In a kadhai add mustard oil and let it heat properly, once the oil is hot add the bitter gourd and cover it with a lid Let the bitter gourd get cook on low flame till then cut the onions and tomato in to cubes , take some potato and even cut it in to cubes. Transfer the potato in to a bowl add water to it and keep it aside . Once the bitter gourd has cooked properly add potatoes, onions, mix it well close the lid and let it get cooked properly Cumin seeds, Kalonjo ,Green chillies ,Ginger julienne ,Salt to taste, Coriander powder, Fennel powder, Ginger powder ,Garam masala, Red chilli powder, Asafoetida, Dry mango powder ,Ginger garlic paste, and mix it well for 3-4 mins now add tamarind paste , jaggery and tomatoes mix it well again finally add chopped coriander mix it one last time and finally remove it in a serving bowl Garnish it with coriander leaves and Ginger julienne Follow me on YouTube for the variety of dishes: Follow me on Facebook: Follow me on Twitter: Follow me on Instagram: Follow me on Linkedin: Follow me on Pinterest:
