Soon, Prof. Brad Mehldau will do another intense learning week with our students on Basel, this time focusing on the inner works of a band. Before that, he will perform in Zurich’s beautiful Tonhalle on March 28 (only a few seats left). When he was with us recently, he shared his exceptional focus and flow when he recorded several tracks in our recording studio, while students listened and observed. Under Prof. Daniel Dettwiler’s guidance, the beautiful Steinway piano was recorded in a state-of-the-art manner.
