Steyr M1895/30 Carbine - 8x56mmR Mannlicher - Part 1

See part 2 here: Shooting my Steyr 1895 carbine converted from an 1895 long rifle and switched to the modern (as of the 1930s) 8x56mmR smokeless powder cartridge from the older M93 8x50mmR Mannlicher smokeless cartridge. This is indicated by the large ’S’ on the base of the barrel. This rifle is definitely a shoulder bruiser.
