Helix HX-4635 (aka Conion C-100F) Boombox Quick Demo

I restored this huge beast of a boombox into decent working order. It didn’t produce sound at all when I received it, and both tape decks were dead. Now it is blasting again, and the tape decks both work as well. There’s still a couple of issues to fix though. Tape 1’s tape door is only attached on one side and thus does not close properly and needs a nudge. The mixing level button is missing, as is the battery door cover and the spare tape drawer. Selecting the ’wide’ stereo mode produces a loud ’pop’, and I’m not sure if it’s sounding right in that mode. The antenna’s will not stay up, and one of two is missing the top. Other than that, it is really kicking and is a very in-your-face, loud flashy box!
