Jerrell Koningsverdraag , who later took the stage name Jay Delano , and Ricardo Overman , working under pseudonym “MC Fixx It“, find common interest and subsequently create a group - “R’n’G“ (Ricardo and “G“ is a nickname in musical young Delano had circles).
In January 1997 , They released the single “Here Comes The Sun“ and within two weeks the song reached position 37 in the German TOP 100 chart. From this moment their workdays begin...
The single “Rhythm Of My Heart“ ends up in the “hot“ twenty, and stays there for seven weeks. “Open Up Your Mind“ starts at number fourteen on the chart...
Jay and Ricardo take part in some charity projects along with other emerging artists - “N’Sync“, “Backstreet Boys“, “The Boyz“, “Bluemchen“ Mr. President
and many others... Meanwhile, the debut album “The Year Of R’n’G“, released in Munich in 1998, is a tremendous succes.
Single “Can’t U Ce?“ turns out to be no less successful, and the track “I Love Your Smile“ (the group’s first cover hit), wich was not included in the debut work, only strengthens the guys’ position on the musical Olympus.
The guys’ album in Poland goes gold. Many music critics belive that “The Year Of R’n’G“ is one of the best in the history of Eurorap style.
The first video clips of the group also appear in rotation. In the summer of 1999, the guys recorded “Tequila (We Came Here To Party)“ and released a single for it on July 19. The composition, suitable for the hot season, easily finds its listener. On September 26, 2000, “R’n’G“ presented another “mini-work“ - “Are You Ready?“ - from the upcoming studio album. However problems arose with the record company and the release was postponed indefinitely...

Having agreed with the new studio, Ricardo and Jerrell resume work. Thus, the singles “Don’t Give Up“ and “Miracle“ produce the desired effect, but the later released second album, “The Right Time“, appears only on the music shelves in Poland.
The producer of the group’s second album was Bülent Aris, who until this time, on the legendary Eurorap label Booya. The album includes many slow lyrical compositions (close in sound to R&B style). But the masterpice song “I Wish I Could“ suggests that the group has not lost its musical style of the first successful album. In this work you can also hear a typical euro-rap track, recorded back in 1998 in a duet with the ten famous polish singer Natalia Kukulska.
Beautiful sensual compositions “Miracle“, “You Are Loved“, “Mi Amour“, “Spanish Eyes“ along with the “Kiler“ “Don’t Give Up“, “I Wish I Could“, “Are You Ready“ testify to that the album turned out to be more than successful. However, the music distribution of the album in europe was to weak...
Some time after the release of the second album in 2001, the artist came into disagreement with the producers of R’n“G, Delano and Overman left the group...
In 2004, Jay Delano plans to create a new rap project. Unfortunately, the plans remain unrealized and the name of the group does not move forward...
Meanwhile, Jay Delano continues his singing career solo, and ricardo Overman is a DJ and heads an artist management company.
In 2005 the now former producer of “R’n’G“ Alex Christensen, comes up with the idea of recreating the group that was successful in the past and he recruits new members.
The guys are originally from America, 28-year-old Kevin Michael burnett and 23-year-old athlete and rapper Lee Anthony Spitzka, “The Dirty South Boys“, as Lee and Kevin initially called their team.
At the end of 2005, she and the producers prepared the first single of the new group “R’n’G“ - “Radio Heartbeat“, and immediatly shot a video clip for it, presenting themselves to the world.
Alex Prince, with whom they collaborated in the first lineup of the group, is invited to perform vocal parts. The promotion and performances of the new “R’n“G“ begin... The song does not become a big hit, but still finds its place in the charts.
The group attracted attention and already in the summer of 2006 a video clip and second single “I’m In Love“/ Ochie Walla“ were released, as well as a full-length album “R’n’G“ Generations“. However, its differs significantly from the musch-loved style of the original “R’n“G“ and gradually the listener’s interest in the new line-up disappears...
But the team still managed to create a very significant hit in the Euro-rap style “This Is My Lfe“.
