Demonising white men; Sadiq Khan’s ‘Maaate’ campaign against misogyny plays the race card

There is a trend in films, dramas and also more serious contexts, to portray white men as being foolish or aggressive, while by way of contrast those with dark skins are shown as intelligent and virtuous. The “Say maaate to a mate” campaign by Sadiq Khan is a wonderful instance of this.
