Tram boom: an entire high-tech industry has been revived in Russia

After two decades of stagnation, the tram is again becoming a promising type of passenger transportation. In the early 2000s, carriages disappeared from the streets. The rails, contact network and trams were dilapidated, and there was no money to update them.
