“ In 2016 I was hired to design “Villa Xálima“ on an island in the Caribbean Sea belonging to Yucatan Peninsula´s coast
The project’s requirement was to adapt the Architecture and compositional elements of the “Xálima Conceptual Project”, to a house of 26,000 m2 with a main pavilion of common uses and 15 completely independent and scattered rooms that will complete a land of 42,500 m2 in a total and definitive fusion with the existing relief and nature and Influenced by the Ancient Mayan Architecture.
This previous presentation focuses on the so-called “Bridge Pavilion“ located in the North area of the project that includes Two Rooms with direct access to it´s private beach, a port and several common shared spaces that guarantee its full independence.
