I recorded this video of the Timkat Festival in Gondar (Ethiopia) on the 19th and the 20th of January 2008. According to the Ethiopian calendar this was in (Ethiopian) 2000. The ceremony of the Timkat Festival continues through all of the night. The festival becomes extremely crowded after some time, as you can see in this film. A very interesting festival.
