Esty’s Song from Unorthodox (Mi Bon Siach)

So after watching Unorthodox on Netflix, I was blown away by the writing and the performances, in particular, Shira Haas as Esty. Her audition of a traditional Satmar song at Berlin’s Conservatory of Music at the end of episode four was sublime. I wondered, as it was sung a cappella, if there was any mileage in creating another version with some original music as a backdrop against her song.
