Teenager Abducted in Target Parking Lot, Later Found Dead Near Lake

Kelsey Smith was last seen on June 2, 2007, in a Target parking lot in Overland Park, Kansas after buying a present for her boyfriend. Surveillance video showed Smith purchasing the gifts from the store before leaving the store. Hours later, her car was found outside of an abandoned Macy’s where all of her belongings and purchases were still in the car. Smith’s body was later found near a lake.
