Highlights from the performance and rehearsals of Oiseaux Bizarres Ensemble at the Jani Christou International Conference on 16/11/2013. The ensemble consists of the following musicians and performers who live in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, Thessaloniki and Canberra: Sophia Baltatzi, Emmanouil Benetos, Rosie Bergonzi, Danai Bletsa, Thanasis Deligiannis, Isabella Fletcher, Polly Hewett, Artemis Ignatidou, Alexis Ioannou, Angelina Kartsaki, Eirini Kartsaki, Konstantinos Kouzof, Andriana Minou, Evi Nakou, Danai Pappa, Haris Saslis, Dimitris Skyllas, Kristin Sofroniou, Colin Somervell and Nikos Stavlas. The evening performance took place at Goldsmiths, University of London and included the three last works by Jani Christou, Epicycle, Anaparastasis I: The Baritone (Baritone: Alexis Ioannou, Conductor: Thanasis Deligiannis) and Anaparastasis III: The Pianist (Pianist: Andriana Minou, Conductor: Thanasis Deligiannis).
