A beautiful little wild biotope along the banks of Enoggera Reservoir, unfortunately the waterlilies in the video are not a native species and has a tendency to choke up our local waterways, it is known as the Mexican Waterlily (Nymphaea mexicana), the fish in the video are Firetail Gudgeons (Hypseleotris galii) and young Empire Gudgeons (Hypseleotris compressa), they find solitude in the shallows from the larger predator fish that may lurk in the deeper waters, there is more information at the end of this video.
