FJR 6 (autumn 1944) - The retaking of Geel

While the main body of the Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 6 (FJR 6) was directed to Beringen, the British established a new bridgehead near Geel and took the town. The 2nd battalion of FJR 6 was the only reserve left and they were trucked in to reconquer Geel and drive the British back.
