KAMIKAZE: HMS Indefatigable, April 1, 1945

The first Royal Navy aircraft carrier to take a hit from a kamikaze was HMS Indefatigable. The armoured flight deck absorbed the blast and her Seafires, Fireflies and Avengers were landing and taking off again in about 30 minutes.
