Alberto Tomba wins giantslalom (Alta Badia 1994)

Alberto Tomba won on classic Gran Risa piste in Alta Badia, Italy. This was his first World Cup giantslalom victory after almost three years. Tomba shared half-time lead with Urs Kaelin but Swiss giantslalom specialist made a huge mistake in the middle part of the course. Tomba went on to win Overall, Giantslalom and Slalom title at the end of season 1994/95.
