Part two of The Sacred and The Profane, this time for Caphriel’s side. Sadder than The Sacred, because it’s Caphriel. He’s always struck me as a character who feels too much and deals with that by constantly giving to other people, to ease some sort of guilt and enact some subconscious need for penance.
