Nairobi in Kenya, Africa. C/U of the face of a stuffed lion, with jaw slightly open. Various shots of an African man working on the model. M/S shows numerous people at work on different animals at the open-air workshops of taxidermy expert Paul Zimmerman. Paul checks on the work on the lion. Various shots of other animals being put together; a rhino and an antelope. Another man is seen sticking pins into a lion head in order to secure a facial expression; this one looks like a roar! We see a man filing an elephant foot, then C/U of two large animal hooves mounted on wood and used as bookends. M/S other items; antelope hoof bookends, a large hoof with an ashtray and cigarette in the top of it and what seems to be an elephant foot with a piece of polished wood inside it; possibly a fruit bowl or drinks tray? M/S of a zebra skin being stretched over a large wooden board and secured with spiked pegs. M/S of a man working on the head of a water buffalo. Cuts exist - see separate record. FILM
