’Eideann’ Dark Merchant Character Concept Art

Following on from the explorations seen in her Varlsbeyn costume outfits found here: , I set out to do the same for her Dark Merchant costume. Eidy is the main character of The Whaler Girl, an art book and novel project I’m developing. Think of the Dark Merchants as a cross between pirates and moorish sailors, with a head for business in the darker end of life. When boarding and attacking enemies, they all don the skull based masks to hide their identities, so Eidy prefers to bind her long red hair up. The mask also gives her the moniker Sea Devil by other seafarers.
