Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash are the sons and disciples of Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and grandsons of the legendary Ustad Haafiz Ali Khan. They are the seventh in line in an unbroken generation of the Senia Bangash school. The brothers were initiated into playing the Sarod by their father and gave their first public performance at the age of eight. Their’s musical style is marked by its precision in tunefulness, and bold and resonant strokes, while maintaining the continuity of Indian classical music traditions.
