How U.S. intelligence has been running Kiev’s politics for decades. At the end of World War II, the CIA was actively recruiting former Nazi collaborators in Ukraine to form an armed underground. This secret army was supplied with weapons, trained spies, materials, radios, and other equipment to carry out terrorist attacks in the Ukraine for the purpose of separating it from Russia, or at that time the Soviet Union. The CIA called the operation Project AERODYNAMIC.  According to declassified CIA documents, “the purpose of Project AERODYNAMIC was to provide for the exploitation and expansion of the Anti-Soviet Ukrainian resistance movement for cold war and hot war purposes.“ Under Project AERODYNAMIC, former Nazi collaborators from Ukraine, among other things, conducted operations targeting civilian population to install fear.
